Pastisart Introduces a New Brand Identity

At Pastisart, we’re kicking off the year by introducing our new corporate image. We couldn’t be happier with the results—a faithful representation of our values and future ambitions.

This rebranding centers around a new logo, which reflects our commitment to offering the highest quality, traditional and innovative flavors, as well as a wide variety of ranges and products. The new Pastisart logo focuses on two key elements: typography and color.

Typography and Colors: Hallmarks of the New Logo

The typography, Tartufo, is a modern and fresh font inspired by classic literature. It clearly references the tradition in our product creation while embracing the modernity of our innovative proposals. The mix of different styles within a single font pays homage to our diverse range of products and underscores our disruptive capacity.

The vibrant tangelo orange has been chosen to give our brand a unique personality. This color evokes a warm and elegant world, contrasting beautifully with the off-white background to enhance the brand’s prominence.

Morillas Brand Consultancy: Partners in Transformation

The prestigious design and branding consultancy Morillas guided us through this process of transforming our identity and logo. Their talent and expertise in brand design were instrumental in capturing our essence and communication needs in a single symbol and cohesive brand identity. We at Pastisart extend our gratitude for their dedication and exceptional work.

A Step Toward the Next Level

This rebranding is more than just a visual change; it symbolizes our ambition to reach the next level. It’s a commitment to leadership and to becoming a benchmark in the sector by introducing fresh ideas, products, and innovations.

We’re entering a new chapter, baking the dreams of our customers and consumers. Our new image is simply a recognition of our longstanding commitment to service and excellence.

Discover how to eat a croissant

If you are having doubts of how to eat a croissant, there are countless ways to enjoy croissants and we will explain how to eat it and enjoy it. The great thing about croissants is that they adapt to any type of palate, and you can eat them at any time of day. You can eat croissants for breakfast, brunch, or even for lunch.

Table of Contents

Eating croissants for breakfast

As Nutrition Today says in his article, breakfast has been identified as an important factor in nutrition. For this reason, it is important to know how to eat croissants for breakfast. First, you need to choose what type of croissants you’re looking for. In terms of fat, there are croissants made with butter, margarine, or a blend.

Depending on which flavor you prefer to stand out on your palate, you’ll need to choose the type of fat. You can also choose croissants that suit your specific dietary needs, such as vegan or gluten-free croissants, for example.

Depending if you prefer a light breakfast or something more substantial, you can choose the small croissants (24–40 grams) to larger with filling varieties (50–120 grams).

If you want to elevate your croissant and your breakfast, here you can see some ways that will allow you to know how to eat your croissant for breakfast:

  • Pair it with a cup of coffee or tea: A classic croissant pairs perfectly with a hot cup of coffee or tea. The subtle sweetness and richness of the pastry complement both beverages, making it a great breakfast choice.
  • Spread a layer of butter or jam: To enhance the flavor, add a thin layer of butter or your favorite jam. Raspberry or apricot jams are popular choices that highlight the buttery richness of the croissant without overpowering it.
  • Add fruit on the side: Fresh fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, or sliced bananas adds a fresh contrast to the buttery taste of the croissant.

Eating filled croissants

One of the most popular ways of eating a croissant is filling them with sweet or salty, depending on your preferences, making it a filled croissant. At Pastisart we offer both options. If you are more into sweet-filled croissants, you have many options:

  • Chocolate filled croissants: The classic filled croissant, also known as “pain au chocolat”, is a delight to enjoy slowly savoring each bite.
  • White chocolate filled croissants: For those who prefer white chocolate, this croissant is the perfect savory. Pair it with a coffee and it will upgrade the breakfast.
  • Dulce de leche croissant: Perfect for satisfying your cravings with minimal effort. Simply thaw and enjoy the deliciousness! Indulge in our rich cocoa cream-filled croissant, bursting with creamy, chocolatey goodness.

Eating croissant sandwiches

Croissants can also be transformed into gourmet and delicious sandwiches. Without a doubt, our croissant sandwich is the king of croissants. If you’re looking for something more substantial for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or even dinner, larger croissants are ideal since they’re easier to fill. Without a doubt, our croissant sandwich is the king of croissants. Its fluffy dough makes it the perfect companion for any palate. Fill it to your liking, whether sweet or savory; its delicious dough is the perfect match. Our croissant sandwich is perfect for making delicious sandwiches filled with cold cuts, cheeses, or eggs with vegetables like tomatoes, cucumber, or lettuce.

A particularly interesting option to consider is grilled or hot croissants. Croissant dough is perfect to enjoy both cold and hot. What’s special about hot croissants is that when paired with cheese, the cheese melts into the airy dough, blending the flavors together and creating magical sensations for the palate.

Croissants are a great ally for those who don’t have time to cook but don’t want to give up the pleasure of enjoying a delicious, fluffy pastry—whether plain or filled, cold or hot, alone or with company. The options for eating croissants are endless, which is why they are one of our star products.

What’s the difference between a muffin and a cupcake?

Both muffins and cupcakes are delightful treats that offer a wide range of flavors and decorations. These small bites can satisfy even the most discerning palates at any time of the day. At Pastisart we have over 10 years of experience working with pastries and bakery, and we have crafted countless muffins and nowadays, we can surly say the main differences between muffins and cupcake.

Table of Contents

Differences in ingredients and composition between muffins and cupcakes

When comparing the different ingredients between cupcakes, muffins typically contain less sugar and fat compared to cupcakes and often include fruits and nuts in their ingredients. Additionally, muffins may incorporate whole grains and cereals, such as oats, which provide a product richer in natural and healthy fibers. Both muffins and cupcakes usually include flour, eggs, butter, baking powder, and sugar in their batter, with muffins often adding oil as well.

Differences in preparation between muffins and cupcakes

The main difference is that muffins tend to be denser, while cupcakes have a lighter and fluffier batter. The batter for cupcakes is beaten more thoroughly to incorporate more air, resulting in a lighter texture. They also differ in size; cupcakes are typically smaller than muffins. In fact, the name “cupcake” originates from the 18th century, referring to how small cakes were baked in cups. This method allowed for individual cakes that were easier to bake and serve.

Differences in flavor and decoration between muffins and cupcakes

One of the main advantages of muffins is their flavor versatility, as they can be both sweet as a chocolate passion muffin and savory as a hazelnut muffin. Muffins can be filled with fruits or include vegetables like carrots cake muffins, leeks, pumpkin, and spinach, combined with cheeses such as cream cheese or feta. This variety also adds to their nutritional and dietary benefits. The most noticeable visual difference is that cupcakes are always decorated with colorful and diverse frosting. Typically, this frosting is made from butter, cream cheese, or fondant, among other ingredients.

Differences in consumption between muffins and cupcakes

Muffins are generally larger and denser, making them ideal for starting the day with a nutritious breakfast or for an afternoon snack. Their sweet and savory flavors combinations, along with the possibility of using fibber-rich and cereal-packed batters, contribute to a greater sense of fullness. On the other hand, cupcakes are perfect for dessert and celebrations, as their colorful and varied decorations make them visually appealing.
